Great F1 article on the BBC ahead of the 2010 season 09/03/2010 at 21:58

The BBC have posted a great article on why it’s not normally a good idea to place two world champions in the same team. The article goes on to make reference to “Hamilton/Alonso in ‘07, Prost/Senna ‘88-’89, Mansell/Piquet ’86-87”

If your an F1 fan and this is a cracking read, even if you follow the odd race, its a good insight as to why this year will have fireworks!

The article can be found here.

Amazing Motor sport images – Dakar Rally 12/01/2010 at 22:42

If your a fan of motor sport and great photographs you may want to take a look at the Big picture article on the Dakar rally.

As I am a big fan of both I was totally blown away with the quality of the images in this gallery. Covering a sporting event is difficult enough, when its stretched out over 6000 Km its amazing that anything gets photographed!

Take a look at the article for yourself!

Past clients breaking in to the business 23/09/2009 at 18:06

Its always nice to hear from past clients, what they are up to, how they are settling in to married life etc.

I recently spoke with Jemma, a client from earlier in the year. She told me she was starting her own business designing and selling wedding favours. She has now opened her website for business and she seems to have a pretty large stock to chose from.

If you looking for wedding favours and want them pre-assembled or maybe you want to help with the design, take a look at Favours with Flavours

The event runs from 10am until 5pm and I’m aiming to be there from 11 until 3pm *Update* We have quite a lot of wedding couples booked in so I will be at the show from 10am until around 2pm.

I look forward to seeing you there

Missing comments – UPDATED 05/07/2009 at 20:34

I have just become aware that a few comments on my blog were marked as spam and instantly deleted. This was a fully automated process and I was not notified. If you are one of the people to post a comment on my blog, please re-post your comment and accept my apologies for this technical error.

I have traced this issue to a failed update of my spam software running on the blog. It appeared to have updated fine but was failing to report any comments marked as spam. I think the issue is now rectified but I cant be 100% positive until a few comments are marked as spam and reported.

If you do post a comment it should show up straight away as I do not pre-moderate my comments. If you notice your comment isn’t displayed straight away, please get in touch.

****UPDATE****

OK this still seems to be an ongoing issue, I am in contact with the spam software company but I am going to temporarily disable the software. I will be keeping a close eye on the comments but please forgive me if there are questionable comments on the site, I will be deleting them as quick as I can! If it gets too bad I will switch to vetting comments before they go live until this issue is fixed.

The software company have been through some tests and everything now looks like its working (fingers crossed)

I have been working on this site for quite a few months and I’m really happy with how it looks but I would love to hear your comments too! I think this new site is more in keeping with my style of photography and even though I was still getting compliments on the old site this new one is a big step forward.
I even have a new look blog, it still has all the old posts and comments so you can still catch up with my latest weddings and thoughts. Now the new site is live I might even get chance to put some new content on there!

Landscapes 05/01/2009 at 19:41

Happy new year to everyone. To start the year off on a high I thought I would post some pictures I took today.

We had some snow overnight so I decided to tread the same towpath as I have on a number of occasions to show what the canal looks like in winter. It wasn’t very cold but I only managed a two hour window between cloudless sky and fully overcast! still, it helps burn off all that turkey ;-)

I am really starting to get into my landscapes, it takes quite a mental shift from the hustle and bustle of weddings to the relative tranquility of landscapes but one that I am thoroughly enjoying. I don’t think these three images could be any more different even if I had tried.
