I have just read a great article on the BBC’s website regarding F1, its future and how it will affect the car you drive.
The article talks about possible 2013 engine regulations and how that may look at using smaller turbo charged engines similar to the power plans used in cars like the ‘Smart’ range of vehicles and how they could reduce fuel consumption by more than 50%. It’s not only the fuel economy of F1 cars that is interesting here, its the fact that they are trying to champion this kind of technology and make it much more acceptable for use in road cars.
Grab yourself a coffee and head over to the BBC’s website to find out whats in store for your next car.
